SL 3308 Saturday Night Live: Jonah Hill (Mariah Carey)

Quite a good episode with a few good laughs.

Mariah Carey? And Tee Pay>!>! As a solo she was bland. As a duet, they were both bland. Both the songs were just any other song from their genre. Utter crap.

If I was in the audience, I would be well dissapointed with such an offering.

Going from bad to good, there was too much MacGruber - it is essentially the same joke over and over and is a symptom of lazy writing i.e. a filler. I mean I know they had a tough time with Jonah as apart from a six year old boy he seemed to play the same old role what he is know for from films but still - I mean come on!

What's your situation and the 6 year old child sketches were lame, but things improved with Suzie Orman - I don't precisely know who she is but I know the kind of TV show very well where some middle aged nobody tells the "nobody's" what to do. And the best sketch of the evening? Quite clearly the "I'm dating your father sketch" but it was helped by Sangberg whose timing is amazing...

I especially liked Tracey Morgan's response to Tina Fey's Hillary comment of "bitch is the new black"... Well... "Black is the new president, bitch". Certainly made me guffaw.
