What a promising opening to this rather messed up drama. I especially liked the opening credits showing Majestic/Agrestic in flames.
How Nancy will survive in Ren Mar remains to be seen but I found it disturbing for her character that as someone who just "fell into" the drug trade, now that she has moved her first instinct is to make money through it rather than find a job. I have a feeling the border will have a huge part in the new series and it is interesting that the new series has relocated to such an area considering this is an election year...
Back in Majestic/Agrestic, things aren't looking too good for Celia as Isabelle masterminds Dean, Doug and Sanjay to frame Celia for the drugs. This group are definitely the comedy of the show. With two sets of characters being in separate locations, the whole episode was left feeling a little unbalanced and clunky albeit it did do well considering they are completely changing location for an ongoing series...
Interestingly there is no sign of Conrad and Heylia as yet; but they can't be far behind...
