This new show is suitably creepy and very JJ Abrams...
The biggest negative of the show I can pinpoint is the casting of Joshua Jackson (I just can't imagine Jackson as anyone else other than the I’m-thick-but-like-to-use-abnormally-long-words Pacey; hence why him being a sexist pig and saying sweetheart is weird. Oh – wait!
The JJ Abrams style of drip feeding plot points is evident from the start; I’m guessing William Bell and Massive Dynamic will be important threads. Thinking back to what Lost was like at such an early stage, who knows what avenues those will lead to – just remember the series finale of blowing the hatch open…
Pacey and Olivia are blatantly going to get together... That'll be nice...
One thing which is puzzling me quite a lot is just why Dr Bishop was locked up in the first place if he could just walk away after convince Pacey and Olivia of his coherence in a day! Very convenient scripting.
A tentative yes for Fringe although the deal is not yet sealed...
6/10
