An enjoyable romp through the supernatural world of New York although the movie is quite old now in a number of ways. Firstly, the effects are pretty much dated such as the hand-drawn animation on top of the film footage however I can still recognise that it is very well done. It is strange to see so many physical stunts when in today’s movies people would just use CGI effects. Secondly and perhaps most notably, the pacing of the movie was relaxed. I quite liked the feeling of not being rushed through from sequence to sequence.
That is one movie I have always wanted to see, now seen. I can tick that box and where the tee. And it was worthwhile too!
